Personally, I would keep waiting. Something good shows up on eBay quite frequently.

if you would consider those, it looks like you would consider spending about 1000 on this practice set of a little known maker no longer full time in the business accross the ocean (=shipping charges). For a couple of hundred $$ more you can have a seth gallegher practice set- he is a 2-3 hour drive from you and provides excellent service. there are several other good makers within several hundred miles of you.
so look closer to home, and buy a relationship with an active pipemaker- its worth it.
