boxwood

I heard about a company on this very forum, however, the post was deleted in its entirety.
I ordered some samples of buxus from them, and was delighted with the stuff they sent.

That’s some great looking stuff. That’s the company from Turkey right?

Beautiful wood.

Yep. As I told MarkH, if you order from them, make sure you are specific about your requirements (regarding various defects including warped pieces). The quality (and price) varies according to you degree of perfection you require

Dear Bill Haneman and Mark Hillman,

Thank you very much for your positive comments.
We hope; can help you end of my life for boxwood.

Best Regards.

I’ve seen it first hand and it is top quality stuff!

Oh, I’m just so chuffed to see all this happy writing about boxwood…

Really seems to be on the up and up these days. Great for flat pipes, but I’ve heard a number of concert pitch sets (including my own) that are made from boxwood and sound top notch…Great for other instruments, too, Hamish Moore always makes his Border pipes from boxwood…He had a great set of Highland pipes in A made from boxwood. Gorgeous, surprisingly smooth & mellow tone…(You can hear him play them on the “Stepping on the Bridge” CD; Gordon Duncan plays this set on the "Piper & the Maker CD). Lots of flutes being made from boxwood as well. With blackwood & ebony stocks currently in decreasing supply, could it be…The Wood Of The Future…?

Better stop or I’ll start salivating over the new boxwood chanter I’ve got coming later this year…Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh…

It is beautiful wood, of that there is no doubt. I am curious, however, just how much there is available now, and just how much will be available in the future?

boxwood

Not all. I have a set of HM border pipes in ebony (with a blackwood stock).

Best, John

Muzaffer,
isn´t it too dangerous to leave the center in the wood?

Muzaffer, I want to be fair here, honestly. But I am having a difficult time being so when every post of yours is yet another advertisement for your product. Please, keep your posts to this forum conversational in nature.

You may post sales of items/wood once per month, but that is it.

Thank you.

-JES.

Dangerous in what sense? It’ll cause the wood to crack or it’ll try knife you?

Hello JES,

Don’t think our words for advertisement.
Because; We haven’t selling problem
We are also selling boxwood wholesale and retail.
But; if you want, we can delete all messages. No problem.

Best Regards.
