The Blondes welcoming, you are lucky you weren’t kicked out by the landlady for bringing the pipes in there, I went in there once with Pat Mitchell and Jimmy O Brien Moran each of us taking turns playing, JOBM got an earfull for ‘bringing these yokes in here’. Pat had been kicked out before, with Wilie Clancy. The people in the session are OK though. I go there once or twice a year.
I said that the session was welcoming, not the blonde!
My present wife was so offended at the reception she got from Her Grace when she just tried to sit down that I had to deploy all my diplomatic skills to persuade her that we should even stay there till the real musicians arrived.

Hopefully at least as many again as the 27 years we’ve already clocked up. If the eponymous blonde is who I think she is, there’s not much of a risk from that quarter, as Peter will confirm.
