Bluegrass tune `Drag that fiddle``+John Shehan tunes wanted

Hello Folks

Atm Im planning a concert for the weekend of New Year with a couple of auld friends who will join me for performing in the local pub . Some days ago a lead guitarrist joined us ,and he wants to play some solos with me ,and as hes fond for bluegrass,he would like to play a tune we both heared on the 30 year anniversary cd of the Dubliners : Drag that fiddle .
Does anybody know the tune or does anybody have a note sheet for it ??

I also search for some tunes of John Sheahan ,I like his compositions much ,specially looking for waltzing with angels and st.patrick`s cathedral .

Researched all tune finders and archives I know ,nowhere this tunes were found ,execpt a march version of st.patricks cathedral ,but this version sounds awful. \ \ Anyway ,it will be the first time Ill play the fiddle in public since I choosed to relearn the fiddle for some reasons ,mainly the fact that Im a lefty and wanted to get it the way I am ,playing with the wrong hand caused some irritations after several years of using the wrong hand ( not for fiddle only),so I relearned it with the ``right``hand for it ,altough its not easy to get a lefty fiddle or to modify a fiddle for it (but still not impossible).

thanks alot ,Julian

I can’t remember what’s on the CD, but the tune is almost certainly a version of the Western Swing standard “Draggin’ the Bow” which I’ve heard John do onstage a few times. He might mix it up with some other tunes in improvisatory fashion.

You’ll easily find “Draggin’ the Bow” on Google - there are hundreds of recordings, my favourites would be by Bob Wills and Johnny Gimble

thx alot ,as I see alot of tune archieves note them with :Aka Drag that Fiddle ``

Found some note sheets for most of Sheehan´s Instrumentals ,atm I´m arranging a version of the Marino Waltz in A (so you can play it ona D whistle)

Regards,Julian
