It seems that our Southern California club has become quite a hotbed of flat set piping. Poor pitifull me, I feel so left out when the big guns get pulled out. I would like to be able to run with the big dogs, and I estimate that at this rate, Iraq will be liberated again twice before my name crawls to the top of Geoff Woof’s list.
So if anyone out there has a B chanter, or some configuration of a set,(or the same in C) that they would like to exchange for $MONEY$, please contact me.

Dump the wife, get the flat set. The pipes always love the squeezing and they don’t get headaches..

The key is having your wife listen to a flat set, the reduced volume tends to be a big hit with the innocent bystanders 
Michael Hubbert will be at the So Cal Tionól, so you can talk to him about his B sets. Brad Angus and Joe Kennedy are both definately worth considering.

While I was playing my new C set a few nights ago, my wife, seated on the sofa next to me said, “Wow. I can’t believe I can stand to be this close to you while you’re playing pipes.”

I have a flat chanter in b by a good maker here in new england , It is a one in 20 stick , and I am reluctant to sell , but I and do it . I am hoping for offers around 700 dollars us , it is a moloney copy , and plays well in both octaves , and in tune in a wide range , and easy to reed , why the sale? I cant play right now as I pinched a nerve in my back and I am healing . I am looking to replace it with a full set as I heal up . tom .
this is a very good chanter , by bill thomas , and it just wants to play , it will play in a good range of volume , and still be in tune . I have not played it for some time as I have a d chanter i play that I like better . who ever wants flay pipes , and owns this stick will be very happy .
