Just curious if anyone has decent F flute they’d be interested in parting with - if so, please shoot me a PM with the details.
Thanks,
Loren

Indecent F’n flutes need not apply. ![]()
Sent you a PM.
Due to a change in finances, I’m no longer looking for an F flute. Thanks for the responses.
Loren
Ive got a 5 key boosey pratten boxwood flute which i play mysel,f but i have another 6 key rosewood flute by "Harold & Son Calcutta, a London maker
who worked in Calcutta for some time, its a great pl;aying flute but it needs work, the C natural key is missing and a piece of the block for that key is missing, its a five part flute with tuning slide.
Anyway please check your PM Loren
Thanks guys. I’m scrambling around today in an effort to pick-up my lathe and milling machine, while there’s a break in the weather, so forgive me if it takes a little while to properly respond, things are a bit crazy at the moment.
Loren
Lathe and milling machine? Sounds like your going to go into the bodhran beater business, right? ![]()
Eric
Right, like I’m not annoying enough already ![]()
Considering how much I just spent on tools, and how much more I “need”, I’d have to make bodhran beaters for about 10 years just to break even…
Nah, it’s wooden christmas ornaments for me, that’s where the big bucks are.
Loren
Ooh, wooden ornaments! I wish you the best of luck - it’s a tough market and you’ll be competing with much of SE Asia. Still, I have faith in you.
In all honesty, get off the board and start making flutes… ![]()
Eric
I promise you Eric my friend, as soon as I have everything in place, I’ll be knee deep in wood chips, and far too busy for much posting here.
Loren
Hey - don’t completely disappear - you’d be missed.
Eric
Only by a few, heh heh.
I don’t expect to completely disappear, I’ll be around, here and there.
Loren
Let us know when yer takin’ orders! I’ll take a Prattenish Rudall that handles like a 3000 but sounds better than a 5000, with a long D# and air conditioning. In Gerbilwood.
Seriously, keep us up-to-date, and keep your dust-collector working!
If Jon hasn’t already swiped it from ya, shoot me a PM and let me know what you’re looking to get for it. I’d be interested to see pictures as well, if you could arrange for it.

Well, I’ll be skipping right to “11” as it were: My first model will be a “Mark XXIV series 7000 Improved Perfected Model” made from select aged Gerbilwood with Genuine T-Rex Tooth Ivory rings. The slide, end cap, and stopper will be fashioned from 200% pure Unobtainium, from my private stash and, finally, I will include a Adamantium case, for the ultimate in protection. For an additional charge, Biometric locking mechanism, non-lethal self defense capabilities, and GPS guided homing return functions can also be incorporated in the case, however this does increase the cost, just a hair.

Do it, definitely.
