Alba Whistles
Elfsong Whistles
Serpent Whistles
M & E Flutes
Soon to be added are the Clarke line of whistles, as well as music books from Mel Bay.
To start the grand opening, the Crossings will be giving away one of the newest Alba whistles, the SE. This is a tuneable whistle in the key of D, and pictures will be up soon as well. Contest rules are posted in the announcement section of the forums. (http://www.gaeliccrossings.com/forums)
Thanks for your support everyone, and good luck!

I’m just a beginner, so not very experienced. It seems like a fine collection of flutes and whistles to me though especially the elfsong whistles).
Although the design looks very smooth, it’s a bit chaotic when you actually look at the content.
Good thing there’s another site now!
Hoed, what part of the content looks chaotic? I can redesign it if I know what it is…
I wouldn’t call anything about the site “chaotic” but I do have one small suggestion: add a button at the top or side for “HOME” so that people can easily get back to the main page from other pages. When I first tried the site, I went to the page in your announcement post, which was the catalog. There was no obvious way to get to the main page (but yes, I did figure it out).
It’s a good site – you’ve obviously put a lot of work into it. And it warms my little hammering heart that you specifically listed “hammered dulcimers” in the “other instruments” category.

HD addict, whistle wannabe
Heh, thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I’ll work on adding the link. I had to move it when I had the redesign done.
And, I know a few HD players. I’d have gotten hurt if I didn’t have at least a mentionable place for them…
I see you have a privacy statement. That’s good…you should add to it that under no circumstances will you send emails promoting a personal agenda to your customers, like some companies do, namely LARK IN THE BLASTED MORNING.

Hey, everyone. To anyone that entered by sending an email to Aodhan@gaeliccrossings.com, the mail server that my host uses borked. I’ll post a list of people I have entered, if you entered and your name doesn’t appear, please send me another email.
I think it’s your featured items that are really making things ‘chaotic.’ I would suggest something like ebay where you give a list of ALL your products, and just put the featured ones at the top in a seperate section. Basically, with only 14 items (max) in a catagory, you don’t NEED the extra space to advertise specials.
Also, when I click on ‘elfsong whistles,’ I expect to see a list of whistles, not two featured whistles, and links to mouthpieces/tubes…
Honestly though, a great site. Just criticizing 'cause you asked for it!

Kathy-
You could have sent me a PM on my board, I’d have noticed that much faster.
The list will go up monday of everyone that has entered. Monday is the 1/2 way point of the contest. Right now there are about 20 people entered, give or take a couple.
