Andy's Front Hall...Bad News/Good News

Just found out that Andy’s Front Hall is going out of business.

Musical instruments are not being reduced, but…

All books and CD’s are now 20% off. They will be 30% off in February if there is anything left.

They have a few of The Essential Guide to Irish Flute and Tin Whisltle by Grey Larsen and just one Mad For Trad Penny Whistle CD-ROM tutorial. I got the Larsen book for about $32. Also got Mel Bay’s 110 Best Slow Airs for $27 with the CD.

Check the web site at http://www.andysfronthall.com

Happy hunting!

Mike

Looks like the Mad for Trad tutorial is already gone…

That’s too bad. I’ve been dealing with them for about 15 years and got my first high ender (Schultz Thin Weasle) from them. I think I also helped hook them up with C&F when I was in Albany seeking refuge during a business trip years ago.

Best,

Philo

I went there once. They weren’t very knowledgeable, but there were friendly. It’s really in the middle of nowhere. It’s always sad when small businesses go out of business.

The website says they’ve been there for 30 years. Are they going out of business because of lack of business, or does Andy just want to retire?

Steven

Well, I just went apeshit getting CD’s. I’ve been looking for something by Garry Shannon for some time, which they have.

I haven’t dealt with them before, though I’ve perused their website. I’m sorry to see them go.
