Noted the shift from the LBD, but who made those golden thingies - Clark’s, Generation, John Rocha?
By the way, I visited Cracow for my work last autumn, lovely city - vibrant and youthful, churches packed with young and old - even if the air was fairly badly polluted with what seemed to be coal smoke. In fact my reaction was very similar to that of a British colleague when he came to Dublin 20 years ago. It made me realise what an ageing society Brussels has.
Keep up the music, though I don’t know how you do it in such isolation. Is there a university in Katowice? Any chance you might find some Irish Erasmus students there?
Well Roger I’m not sure about Katowice and Irish students - I’m trying to find out more at the moment but not for long 'couse I’m gonna live in uk soon… Poland is really isolated you know, even for british people I’m non eu-student…it’s terrible…
But anyway I found flamish (belgian) seaside very beautiful even much more than polish one
And Karków… well… lovely place for me very similar to Brugge (have friends in Maldegam)… I spend nice time looking for Generation C last weekend in Kraków and I succeded! Really incredible for me - one guy has imported this C for me from uk!!! I’m really glad that you can find such a instruments in here. And YES we have a lot of univeristies in Katowice - to tell the truth Katowice is a capital of Silesia so it’s really hudge..
I am pretty sure that those golden thingies were made by Generation:)
At the risk of being excommunicated from the unofficial Andrea Corr fan club, don’t you reckon sometimes she looks like a Thunderbird puppet? That first pic Tres posted especially… it’s that kind of Ally McBeal head too big for the body thing.
Mastersound:)
well… besides the music I love photographs and belive me that it depends on lens, protographer position, light etc… and pic posted by Tres looks familiar…I even say that is from 1996 after VH1 The Corrs Day
And the most important thing - Ally can’t play a Tin Whistle and she’s not a lead vocal
Hi PATI. The high camera angle and fairly wide lense creates the problem. Anything close to the lens becomes out of proportion.
This is still my favourite AC photo:
Actually, I always preferred the bodhran player, especially in the cowboy hat she wore in the video for “What can I do to Make you Love me?” - just keep wearing the hat, Caroline.
