An Alphabet Game for Us to Play

The Alphabet Game is simple. A person comes up with a theme. I am choosing “Whistles & Flutes” as the theme for this game. The game starts on the letter A, goes to B, then C, …all the way to Z. I will start the game.

A is for “The Abell Flute Company.”

Next.

B is for the Bb Generation.

C - half-hole or cross-fingerered ?

D is for D chord. Definition of a D chord? Three flute-players blowing a D…

E is for Elderly where you can get a Shaw E Whistle

not to be confused with the evil Steve :smiling_imp:

F is for flute (especially a glass one filled with champagne)

David

G is for the secondary key on a D whistle.

H is for hottie:

G is for Gen. The tradition lives on.

I is Irish music, of which we’re so fond.

J are the joints, those troublesome points

K for the ever popular Kesh Jig, played on a Kerry whistle

L is for liberal slant…no…wrong forum…

ahem…

L is for limerick contests of old…no…whistles, whistles, dang it…whistles…

cough.

L is for Where are the Loos? …sorry, be right back.

Hi. (shake, shake…dang hot air dryers…)

L is for Let someone else think of an L.

Lips, leading edge of the Labium Ramp, lead fipple?

L is for lips on a lead plug and Labium Ramps.

L is for leather away the wattle-o.

“M” is for “Meg”

N is for Nano, of course. And he plays a Noy. Which is a flute.

Hope you didn’t rob Peter for that, it would be annoying if ya did.

Robbery is relative.

You know, when I play, no matter how good or bad it sounds, I am in fact “a-Noying”.

O is for Overton. I mean, c’mon. What else could it be? Ombashure?
