Alan from Ayr? Know him?

Hi-- anyone know a whistler named Alan, from Ayr Scotland? I have a Cocobolo whistle waiting for him, but I can’t get an e-mail through to him: they keep coming back as undeliverable. I’m writing to him at the same address we’ve used before to discuss this order.

If you know anyone that fits the description, please tell him to contact me.

I did a Yahoo People Search of his first and last name and got no hits. I tried A, plus the last name and got too many to try calling transatlantic…the perils of being an international whistle mogul :frowning:

Alan of Ayr, eh; sounds like you should look in Sherwood Forest  Sorry, Paul, couldn’t resist. Good luck.

Odds bodkins! Methinks you’re right, Sir Philip of Queens… :stuck_out_tongue:

Any chance he could be on C&F???

Hope you find him…

I asked once before, and if he is on Chiff, he’s hopefully seen my current thread.

I’ll hang onto the whistle for a month or so more. It’s already past the time I promised it to him, so hopefully his WHOA will get the better of him and he’ll inquire about it.

-Didn’t he run off with sweet Betsy from Pike? Inquiring minds want to know!

Hey if you have a whistle that you need to magicaly disappear I could help you with that.

Hey Paul, in the interests of curiosity, did you ever find Alan of Ayr? Oddly, I went fishing with my brother, and that popped into my head. How that came about during a fishing trip, I don’t know.

Nope, never heard another word from him. I eventually sold the whistle to someone else.
