After much research... I get it!

I finally get what has been said without saying it and I am so glad to understand finally… (Dusts off the newbie hat and sits on the stool in the corner…)

WTA

We’re glad you get it. Several of us are still trying to sort things out.

William do you really want to go on about this? The consensus was there had been enough.

This thread is really a rhetorical statment. I have recieved numerous pm’s, too many to reply to so I make this general post to all with my thanks for all the help in understanding the whistle community here at C and F.
I also thank you Peter for closely monitoring this thread you are right I should have indicated in the original post that it was intended to be rhetorical and this forum so to keep all things as they should be. Where would a forum of this size be without moderators?

WTA

… I dunno, Antartica?

I do not mean to ruffle feathers, but I suggest we let byegones be byegones and move on. Thanks.

Really? I didn’t know you were the voice box of consensus. Perhaps we have had enough but “consensus” is stretching it a bit. This isn’t a democracy here as you know and that’s why I have been prepared to turn the other cheek to the deletion of so many topics WITHOUT the consensus of so many posters who constructively or humorously or laterally tried to counter the tone you brought to them, Peter. There is no need for you to rub salt into the turning of the neck whilst some of us turn the other cheek.

But then, perhaps, you are entitled to speak of a consensus. What if I were to speak of a consensus of perception about you RELIGIOUSLY following WTA about the place and being within the first three or so to make your easily misunderstood comments to him? Hmm? Either we are each entitled to project a consensus or neither.

I reckon you ought to start growing up. Otherwise by the time you’re my age you may be as idiotic as I am.

erm … does anyone here know the best way to lay-in the plumber’s tape on a low D tuning slide?

I’ve tried to be neat as I can but don’t know what to do with the dangly end-bit - it keeps catching and being pushed out the join - it looks silly.

Any plumbers here?

Gentlemen:

Maybe this will work:

Cut it the hell out.
