ABCWin vers.2.1, and Beta update

I have been having some trouble with ABCWIN vers. 2.1K, despite the fix to get it to run on Windows XP. Draws the tune OK, but not so when drawing in the print area. This is especially so when I have tried to insert text underneath the tune. As far as I know, no strange characters inserted to cause this sort of glitch. It even makes some bars all gracenotes. Strange.

I have searched the C & F forum, but got no further.

Any one tried the Beta update? Does it work OK, or other ideas for Vers. 2.1?

I like the ouput when it works OK, and it is so simple to input tunes. So, am reluctant to dump it and change to other software.

I’ve tried the Beta C update on Win XP, and it works OK so far. One nice new feature is the ability to use an external player (like ABCMus) instead of just playing thru the PC internal speaker. Another is the ability to display and print multiple pages.
