Not ITM, but
I am trying to convert Sakura to the key of D (GM?)
Can anyone check over the ABC’s and check that there are no off notes?
X: 1
T: Sakura
M: D
L: 1/4
K: D
[| e e f2 | e e f2 | e f g f | e (f/e/)=c2 |
| B G B =c | B (B/G/) F2 | e f g f | e (f/e/) =c2 |
| B G B =c | B (B/G/) F2 | e e f2 | e e f2 |
| B c (f/e/)=c | B2 z2 |]
If you work better with dots,

Thanks
I don’t think your key is right. You seem to have transposed it from Am to
Em. If you use “K: Em” and get rid of the = in front of the c’s, you should be
free of accidentals.
Did you use an automatic converter? Because I don’t know if “M: D” is a
valid meter…
I think this would be the Em version:
X: 1
T: Sakura
M: C
L: 1/4
K: Em
[| e e f2 | e e f2 | e f g f | e (f/e/)c2 |
| B G B c | B (B/G/) F2 | e f g f | e (f/e/) c2 |
| B G B c | B (B/G/) F2 | e e f2 | e e f2 |
| B c (f/e/)c | B2 z2 |]
If you actually wanted it in the relative minor of D (which is Bminor), here 'tis:
X: 2
T: Sakura
M: C
L: 1/4
K: Bm
[| B B c2 | B B c2 | B c d c | B (c/B/)G2 |
| F D F G | F (F/D/) C2 | B c d c | B (c/B/) G2 |
| F D F G | F (F/D/) C2 | B B c2 | B B c2 |
| F G (c/B/)G | F2 z2 |]
Your Em suggestion looks like it fixes some things. Thanks!
No, I was writing down the notes as played and I don’t know my ABCs too well. (Monday morning, Daylight wake up early time)
As for the meter, I think that I replaced the C thinking it was the key with a D the last time I edited it out.
The B minor version would be great except for that low C2. So I needed to bump it up to Em.
The Words for them as want them.
I am not sure what the song sounds like traditionally, but here is a Youtube version of it Sokura.
Really I was only trying to play the tune because I saw it as an example to be played on a shinobue, and the similarities in fingering and its pitch made me want to try it.
I had a go at it on the willow-flute, which seemed to manage all the notes!
