i actually took the pipes out in ballinamore on saturday night and (mercifully) brian macaidh took over halfwy thru garret barrys! i have to say it was a weird feelin attempting a tune in public for the first time !!!

Last time in MM; I honked away on “the Blackthorn stick” with my flute…very first time…sob…didn’t hurt that much as they say, though. First time with UP is still some time away.
