I asked his brother if they have any relatives in Cavan town and he said there’s a lot of McCauls around but not necessarily related.
John (my fiancee) is actually in Cootehill right now on vacation. He’s learning the banjo but he wouldn’t be playing in sessions or anything yet. I was there for New Years this year, and spent a few weeks there last summer, but no immediate plans to head over there any time soon…Might go again for New Years next year…
Do you play in sessions in Cavan? I bet you know that crazy drummer Richard, huh?
