Hee hee! How nice to see so many Chiffsters and put some faces to the names! I had a big smile on my face the whole time I read this thread. As jim stone observed, you all do look frighteningly normal.
I look like my avatar, only I’m in color. And I’m taller. And I wear normal clothes sometimes. I’m not gender confused or anything, I like being a girl. I just dress like this so they will let me play on the battlefield with the big boys.
Huccome more folks don’t post pics of themselves? ![]()

Came back from a week away camping to see the living room of Whistlers Highlands on the Forum! Those masks are part of the other Weekender’s collection.
When we first got together, they kinda creeped me out and she has one gargoyle mask that I made her take down. My sister-in-law the Jehovah’s Witness thinks they’re all possessed or inhabited by demon spirts.
I say they make a great thing to collect because they arent that large and you can hang em all around and you can collect em wherever in the world you go. I am still trying to find a tasteful way to hang whistles and flutles around because according to Feng Shui, a lil bamboo flute on the wall is good for the chi.
Thanks for posting pic, Tony, though I got the raw end of the wide angle and color spectrum (maybe it was the bottle of whiskey Blackhawk brought as a gift). Please note CFers that you should contact me if coming out this summer to SF East Bay so we can have another excuse for a whistlefest.
Yours truly,
The Weekender
'Twould be an unkindness to the world for me to do so. ![]()
I can’t figure out how to downsize a picture to fit the avatar requirements! ![]()

Larry, if you email it to me, I’ll be happy to photoedit it to avatar size if you like.
Best wishes,
Jerry
Larry, if you are using a Windows machine you should be able to double click the picture and it will open up in Microsoft Imaging. Then select the Image menu and pick “Resize…” A dialog box will open where you can set the size in pixels. Just set it to 99 x 99 pixels. Save it as a new file so you don’t overwrite the original. That’s about the only use I’ve found for MS Imaging.
My avatar is me at the Northwoods Renaissance Fair.
Sounds easy enought, but now I’ve got a whole other problem entirely. After being unused for a year and a half, suddenly my computer won’t recognize my scanner! I’ve done everything I can think of - uninstalling, reinstalling, several times and still no luck!? ![]()

Great to see some pictures of Chiffers - I really did believe Martin Milner looked like Hugh Laurie ![]()
I just changed my avatar - but I don’t think I can be without my pixy-picture for too long.
<---- That’s me playing flute in Ireland.
cheers,
Jeroen
(I am a real person)
When I double click the picture it opens in Windows Picture and Fax viewer, and then when you try to edit it you wind up in Paint!!! (Windows XP). ![]()

Like the mask in that Jim Carrey movie?
I am still trying to find a tasteful way to hang whistles and flutles around because according to Feng Shui, a lil bamboo flute on the wall is good for the chi.
Who is this Feng Shui, and why did he tell me to tear down my house?
