I don’t know the dates but I have had some contact about it with Susanne Ward [for years now she has been trying to get me as the guest, unsuccessfully so far 
]. For this year she has Mick O Brien and Caoimhin O Raghallaigh invited and at her request I gave her some photographs of the lads for the website. This was around early april, I am sure the new website detailing the whole event will be up soon.
Peter, why not succumb to Ms. Ward’s entreaties? Maine is lovely, despite the crazy level of tourism–and, as an Irishman, you’ll be used to that anyway. Make it a double threat, bring that pipemaker friend of yours back, too.
The East Coast Tionol will be held over Halloween Weekend, Oct. 29, 30 & 31. Mick & Caoimhin will be doing the honours along with a healthy slew of other notables. Their site should be up any day but don’t hesitate to contact them via the site above to help spur them on

Just to clarify, this link is for “The Pipers Gathering” in August, a different event to the “East Coast Tionol” in October. Also well worth a visit though.
