Finally! My computer is fixed! It died a quick but painful death about a week and a half ago (not my fault, long story) and we finally concluded my old hard drive was dead in the deadest sense of the term. Lost a bunch of good stuff (cause I haven’t been good at backing up stuff lately, learned a lesson the hard way here) 
and I have had to start all over. Also learned waaaaay more than I ever wanted about things like BIOS, drivers, and the inside of my computer. 
But finally! I’m back! I know I don’t post a lot, but I check in to see the latest posts an average of once a day… and sniff I’ve missed you all. virtual hugs and plates of pancakes all around Just have to share my joy with somebody here…

Actually, truth be told after playing it for a while, I don’t think it’s for me. Perhaps another low D will be more to my liking. It’s a lovely instument, but just not the one for me. I feel I got the fingering down fairly well, though could still use some practice. I just don’t like the feeling of “blowing air through a tube” I think is a term I have seen used. I don’t know how exactly to describe it. Before actually trying it out, from just hearing Beth play it I would have bought one. But now that I have had a chance to actually try it out, I have changed my mind. Now the only problem is what low D is to my liking. sigh Anyhow Susan, it’s here for you to pick up anytime, just call and let me know ahead of time when you are coming. Or perhaps I can bring it over to you? Just let me know.
