Writing/Playing Software for Uilleann Pipes

Does anyone know of a good software program for composing and playing uilleann pipe tunes (like Bagpipe Music Writer Gold for highland pipes)?

I think you’ll find there are so many variables in uilleann piping (i.e. non of the standardisation of the warpipes) that such software, if it existed, would be quite useless.

ABC is just as good as any other. As Peter notes, there is nothing that can accommodate all little weirdnesses of UPs. Even finding two ABC programs that will read each other’s code is a challenge. I have found I just have to make do with ABCMUS.

I just use Finale Notepad and set it to violin.
