Seeing a recent post about Bagpipe Writer reminded me…
I’ve recently moved from a pc to a macbook - and I haven’t been able to find a programme that will let me access all of my bagpipe writer (and .bww) music.
Your only options may be VMWare or Parallels in which you can run a virtual Windows machine within the Macintosh operating system. With either of these you can run your old Windows software on your Mac. Good luck.
The Bagpipe Writer web site says that its software is cross-platform (Macintosh and Windows) and “import formats are: ABC, BMW, BWW and PIO (PiobMaster, for the Highland Bagpipe - currently Windows only )”
This may be what you are looking for.
I find that as time passes, there are more and more windows-only software gaps being filled with good Mac-compatible applications.
