Instrumentals is a new ten-part series of fifteen minute musical interludes, focusing on a different traditional music instrument each week.
The programmes will showcase the instruments using interviews with musicians, folklorists, instrument makers, clips from the archives, as well as plenty of musical examples.
Contributors include Andy Irvine, Joe Burke, Liam O’Flynn and Tom McElvogue.
