Next Wednesday…I will again go out on the deck at 6 PM and play Amazing Grace as we did a year ago. While all the networks are trying to out do each other I will have the TV turned off. I prefer to remember all those who perished a year ago in my own way. No discussion on this topic is necessary. GM

This could be a very tough week. I remember waking up Sept. 12th last year to the sound of the news on my clock radio and realizing that it wasn’t all some horrid dream. I had really believed, for a moment, as I woke that Sept 11th hadn’t really happened. So surreal.

Due to the fact that some of our members overseas wanted to join in, we decided everyone would play in their own time zone.

I’ll be whistling too. 6pm Central. I’ll be at the WTC memorial at our local park. I had already planned on replacing the flags that day.
