I am such a whistle junkie.
I told my wife that after selling off all of the whistles that I wasn’t playing any more that I ‘deserved’ a new whistle. Kind of sounds like the lame excuses I would give myself for lighting up when I was trying to quit smoking cigarettes (which I finally succeeded in doing about 3 years ago).
In any case, I think I recall it being Jessie K who convinced Michael Copeland to start making sterling silver whistles…if that’s so, the grevious wounds to my pocketbook are on your head Jessie! 
Now comes the hard part…waiting.
