I was oiling the old Thin Weasel, and the metal mouth piece separated from the wooden part. Is there a glue I can use that is safe to put it back together? Thanks.
Perhaps the oil soaked up by the surface of the wood made the glue let go of the wood.
Gluing a onto a wooden surface that contains oil can be tricky if not impossible.
If oil is the problem, don’t work against it, work WITH it by using an oil-based laquer or varnish as a glue.

I’d fix it with 5 minute epoxy, and you can pretty easily do the repair yourself.
Use some alcohol to clean the wooden part under the metal fitting. Also, gently scrape off any remaining epoxy (Glenn used this too). Test fit the metal fitting to make sure it goes on easily.
Mix up some epoxy and use a toothpick to apply a thin film of this on the inside of the metal fitting. Keep this well AWAY from the windway area.
Slide the metal fitting back on and line everything up carefully. Make sure the fipple plug hasn’t shifted. Wipe the excess epoxy off the outside of the fipple. Let it harden overnight and you’re done.
