I’m sure some would find it easier to pick a star out of the sky, but what are some of your favorite tunes (Irish Trad or otherwise)? Or what tunes do you enjoy the most to play in a session?
I’m still learning tunes, so I don’t know a lot of names, but I like The Ivy Leaf and The Mountain Road.

Garret Barry’s
Lark in the morning
Hardiman the Fiddler, O’Farrell’s Welcome to Limerick, The Boy in the Gap, The Girl in the Big House
I like McMahon’s (the Banshee), and the Christmas Eve, and most any other tune that relies heavily on a pentatonic scale. Loads of fun!

Nice tunes, SP, I love the Glen Road to Carrick. One day I will learn it…Southwest Wind is one of my favorites, too. I see the Sporting Pitchfork is not on your list though? ![]()
