I’m not a big craver of chocolate, anyway. Regular Skittles is probably my favorite.
I think Skittles taste like rotten Sprees.

Candy Dots:

Necco Wafers (my boss uses these in meeting so he keeps his mouth shut when he should NOT make a comment):

And the BEST Praline maker in Nawlins:
Horehound!
well, not really. I just like to say it. My Grandmother used to have it at her house. It’s very peculiar stuff, as I recall.
I’ll have to go with Steve - Werther’s originals are awfully hard to beat. Kraft Caramels and mighty fine, and a good ole southern praline is a real treat, too!

Watermelon, what Lucy Temerlin, a chimpanzee, use to call “candy drink.”
I’ve found that most people I work with hate Skittles, too. I may just have funky taste buds. More for me, I say!

I’m hungry now!
They don’t make carmels like they used to. They never taste good anymore.
I like Sunkist fruit gems or similar fruity/jelly candies. Clif shot blocks are included in that even though technically they’re not candy. I like those little fruit treats for children, too, shaped like dinosaurs or whatever other things and supposedly made of real fruit. Pectiny goodness. Mmmm.
Atomic Fireballs. Hot Tamales. Jolly Rancher Cinnamon. (Got a real love for hot Cinnamon candies).
Black licorice (the stronger the better) is pretty good too.
Jelly Belly beans, of course.
Werther’s Originals are pretty good, too.
Drat it. Now I’ll be hungry for the next hour.
Does peanut brittle count?? I had some at a farmer’ market a few years ago and it was the best I’ve had.
If it doesn’t have chocolate in it then what’s the point?
As a Chocolate purist I am almost offended by this question.
Actually, dried fruit is my favorite non chocolate “candy”. I used to like “Chic-o-sticks” (these are very similar to the innards of Butterfingers). Have also enjoyed “Necco Wafers”. However, given that the chocolate I eat is almost pure cacao mass sometimes, my tolerance for anything made with lots of sugar is about zero. Hurts my teeth!
Least favorite are Gum Drops, especially Spearmint flavored ones. Yuck!!!

Gummi worms, you can eat’em and going fishing wid’em

Hot Tamales all the way. Plus, your breath smells nice afterwards.
Do you guys have Raffaello candies in your americas? ![]()

We do, yes! I’ve had them and they’re good! Light and melty.
I prefer the Ferrero Rocher, myself.
No-one has mentioned old-fashioned candies like sponge toffee or candy-canes or saltwater taffy or turkish delight (the real stuff).

Dentyne makes a new Chocomint gum… not bad.
I suppose I like most non-chocolate candies, if they don’t have peanut butter in them. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate all peanut butter, just not in cooked confections. I like Reese’s peanut butter cups, but they have chocolate.
Actually I just thought of one I like that doesn’t have chocolate.
