the weirdest candy bar I ever ate

And yes..it has bacon in it.

but did you like it?

The most delicious candy bar I ever ate was a Lindt with Pear. Wow.

I have some dear friends in Germany, who shall remain nameless and who, on many Christmases, have sent over a big box of the most astounding chocolate bars I’ve ever eaten. Big nasty boys with almonds. Like, you know, 2 lbs. You say, hm, just one square, and you pinch it off and eat it and then you get this tickling sensation at the back of your neck and then you wake up on the floor of some stranger’s apartment and someone’s stolen your cell phone and the gold foil from the big candy bar is in little bits all over the carpet.

Oh, don’t act like that’s never happened to you.

In the meantime, I’m down 18 lbs since starting Weight Watchers.

my aunt and uncle lived in germany and sent us the best chocolates with liquor when we were kids.

the wierdest candy bar i’ve ever eaten is without a doubt, a charleston chew. it’s chocolate covered marshmellow.

I haven’t decided yet. I like chocolate..and I like bacon.

The chocolate and the bacon were very distinct flavors. They didn’t meld. It wasn’t like a Reese’s, where the peanut butter and the chocolate kind of come together in your mouth to forms something new.

Charleston Chews are awesome. I like to freeze them.

That is all.

Cow Tails. :astonished:

Cow Tails are just long, thin Caramel Creams.

I’ll bet it’s an awesome candy bar! I love the concept of eating a “concentrated heart attack”.

Seriously…I love eating the fattiest, gnarliest foods.

I’m interested to see what other products they offer!

There were four I really wanted to try: the goji berry one, the curry powder one, and the green tea one. The olives one just sounds ill-inducing.

But I had to be choosy..they’re $7.00 each! :boggle:

WOW! I gotta catch em all! I’m particularly interested in the ones with the chilies, the wasabi one, and the Creole one. Too bad I’m broke. Early Xmas present anyone?

Seems like chipotle chile and chocolate is all the rage. A friend of mine makes chipotle chile brownies. I think they’re ok.

I think choclocate with bacon is brilliant. The bacon to send your heart into cardiac arrest. The chocolate to bring it back. Isn’t chocolate supposed to be good for you? Like wine?

If a person lives in a town with Spanish-style bodegas (neighborhood grocery stores), they usually stock spicy-sweet candy, such as lollipops. I haven’t seen spicy chocolate, but it may be in some of their stores.

Crunchy frog.

(damn, I usually catch the multiple posts in time to remove them)

In the USA, cinnamon spicy candy has been popular for a very long time.

Yar, there be better ways to eat bacon!

Mebbe… but I just really find them … distasteful… (shiver) … and I like caramel…
