They sure are pretty and I am considering getting one…From their sample cd they sounded real good to me but I am certainly no authority…They seem reasonably priced too…Anyone here have one or try one???Whatcha think?
Hi C4 -
If I am thinking of the correct company - Run a search for “elfsong” and you should find a lot of stuff. The owner of Elfsong whistles is actually a member here, as well.

If you go back a few weeks, I did a quickie review. Mine is beautiful, plays well and is well worth the money. Sandy Jasper was also a pleasure to deal with.
Regards,
Philo
I also did a review, along with other reviewers, which can be found at Elf Song Whistle Reviews.
Sandy Jasper is doing wonderful work and I’d highly recommend her whistles. The reviews speak for themselves.

High F and high G? Are they hard on the ears?

They are an obliging bunch. Not only sell ye a whistle, but their own mother. And she comes with a banjo!
Hey, no mothers, Walden!
Well, I read the reviews..Hmmmm, I am not at all sure what the heck a chiff is??? the first review says chiff lovers had best look elsewhere???Well my dh is feeling generous. I had better make a decision before he changes his mind. Decisions, decisions…

Basically what that means is that it produces a pure musical tone, without a lot of extra noise (chiff is the extra noise, particularly at the start of a note).
Sooo, some people like the extra noise and other don’t. This is not at all cut and dry is it?..Maybe I will be shallow and go for the looks…
