After several months of procrastination (on my part)- there is progress on getting a regular thing going in Western New York.
The Buffalo Irish Center has offered some space for us to meet on the third Sunday of each month, from 2:00pm until 5:00 pm. This will give us a place to meet without having to evict anyone’s family from their living room. And, they have beer. (Not that that is important. I just thought I would mention it…)
So, if you are interested in getting together, drop me a private message, and I will add you to a mailing list to update you on goings on. I am hoping for the first meeting to take place on Jan. 20th, 2008. (Or, Dec. 16th, if we can get it together sooner).
Also, there is a session at the Irish Center on that same Sunday, at 6pm, so anyone coming in from a distance (like myself) can stay for the session and make it a day.
