we had the peanut butter thread...

I was just wondering how many north-americans know this? (all the british know it.)

I love it!!!

Never heard of it.
What do you do with it? (duh, I should read the small print: pancakes and waffles)
Does it go with bread and jam?

With maple syrup to hand, who could be bothered with something else so flavourless?

djm

It’s a sweetener, spread it on crumpets or toast with butter. can’t beat that.:slight_smile:

I don’t take it with pancakes, only butter and maple syrup touch my pancakes!

I suppose you love to SLATHER it lavishly on those crumpets…

It’s the only way..

And we have this –

– in gallon jugs.

It’s the closest you can get to “cloyingly sweet with no discernible taste.”

(Makes a helluva pecan pie, though)

Cane syrup? Nah. Give me a rich, dark, flavorful maple syrup! Yum!

try it first!!

You buyin’?
