I am looking for a Charles Roberts 3/4 or full set in ‘D’ for a colleague of mine who has been on bag & chanter for about four years and plays very well. The decision to look for a Roberts set is based on my friend’s visit to the Willy Clancy summer school either in 2003 or 2004 (I think!).
The set must be in first class condition, fully reeded with chanter, drones & regs balanced. Reasonable price.
I am also wondering if any C & F members would be kind enough to contact me off list (or on list if you prefer) regarding Roberts pipes. I have been playing pipes for many years now but I have no experience of Roberts sets. Both positive & negative opinions would be welcome and all information received will be in the strictest confidence.
