Fergus, thank you. I didn’t find the thread when I searched before, but I am new to all this! I tried the phone number, but no joy (as others seem to have found).
Situation is this, if anyone can make suggestions. I bought a 2nd hand Roberts practice set, which the seller claimed never to have played. They have arrived with some minor damage to decoration but otherwise looking very clean. Problem is … the chanter is not straight - from about 2nd mount up, it bends noticeably to the right. (Looking at chanter face on)
As a complete newbie, can someone tell me if a) there is anything I can do b) if I should fire them straight back to the seller and demand my money back or c) something else?

I’d try to get my money back, and then I would purchase a set from a maker who is easier to get in touch with.
Take it along to the London Pipers Club, Hammersmith, Irish Centre, Blacks Road.Thursday Night 8-10pm.They will check it for ye.
