I’m selling my Charles Roberts 3/4 set.
It’s made of african blackwood, nickel silver and real ivory.
The mainstock is an allow stock. No need to remind how great Charles Roberts drones are. With the allow stock, the drones are really nice.
The bag is 2 years old. It’s a McHarg (probably the best bag around) and the set of bellows is new.
The chanter is a Hevia chanter, which is louder and more dynamic than the Roberts in my opinion. It has a C key. I don’t have the Roberts chanter anymore…
The set is reeded, steady and balance. It plays well.
I can provide a fiber case with the set.
I’m looking for 3500€ without the case (+100€ with the case).
Considering the recent bag, the new bellows, the chanter, and the materials, I think it’s a very good price.
I’ve played this set for many years, waiting my full set. I haven’t played my Roberts a lot this last year so I’ve decided to sell it.
I live near Paris in France. I can send the set anywhere with a suitable insurance.
