You can get a syn for a resonable price with a bnat tube
My next suggestion is a Humphrey. He is a little more local and has a 30 day return policy…not a bad price either
The I.D. of the set is only .5 so it is not the opptimum size for a lower key but it works. Because of the smaller bore you have to blow softer on the low notes and it is rather quiet. The second octave is more favorable and easy to blow. I still like mine even though it is quiet.
I don’t have one but I know the Humphrey has a larger bore and is probably louder and requires more air. You can check the specs. on his website. His new journeyman whistles have a thicker tube. I have a D+C whistle and the workmanship and sound are top notch!
thanks guys for all the help seems to be a lot more than I thought, but ultimatly will keep looking for a used chieftain brass B natural, I have a gorgeous greenwood whistle in C that I could trade plus a couple of hundred $ cash so if you have a b nat brass chieftain let me know???
