Dear Fellow Pipers,
I am a fan of learning and playing tunes on my C and B chanters. Unfortunately, I am quite isolated during most of the year from other Uilleann pipers. Even when I met other pipers, it’s not easy to arrange a session with C or B pipes. I’d like to initiate to start a YouTube community the members of which exchange videos of tunes played on B or C chanters. I am very much interested in the music other B/C pipers are learning. Anyone can be a member who has a C or B chanter and can play a tune at a reasonable level and can post a video on youtube. These videos maybe published as “unlisted”.
Anyone interested?
All the Best and Thank You,
Miki
You can also include anglo concertina players with Bb/F and A/E instruments, which are the equivalent of C and B pitched pipes. I keep a Bb/F concertina exactly for this reason as my the spread on small hands just don’t work on most flat sets without pain.
Cool , me too. My c chanter is out on loan but my B chanter is good.
