Perhaps Peter Laban knows of someone. He is in west Clare (Miltown Malbay), but he may know of others in the region. Peter, are you listening? (If you are, hope that you are keeping well).

Hmm, not much luck, so How about in souther Ireland!? What about a C session at Willie week next yr? I sat in with a piper playing a C set this yr but I was minding a little Girl 18 month , so frustratingly couldn’t join in.
Seamus O Rochain comes to mind. His father Muiris pulls the Willie Week together along with Harry Hughes. Also there’s Cian Talty, Sean’s son, in Miltown Malbay. Lot’s of others too. Peter Laban himself plays in C. Maybe you could go to a few sessions in Ennis or Limerick and get chatting with the musicians. Joey Abarta from over here is living over there at the moment. You may find him in Taffe’s in Galway??? Also in Oranmore there’s Tommy Keane and his son, I think his name is Patrick?
Anyway… off witch ya
Good luck,
Pat.
