We have gone from 11 nations to 2 in a matter of months! http://www.nationstates.net/29919/page=display_region/region=upper_chiffdom
I’m sorry, what is that? ![]()
Maybe a couple of people thought it was clever, i.e. it looks like the work of only a couple of people.

People can create their own simulated country at this web site; http://www.nationstates.net/. It starts with some questions to determine how your country will behave politically, in the first place. Then, over time, you are asked to vote on or ignore legislation as it comes up, which changes the nature of your country over time.
Countries can form regions, alliances of usually like minded countries. If a country has no activity after a certain length of time, it is deleted, which is what has been happening in the region of Upper Chiffdom. Right now, there are almost 100,000 countries active at the Nationstates web site. We had quite the thread going on it in the rubber room, at one point.
Hey there Rod—I’ve wondered occasionally if you were still there. I knew the same issues would come around again----I mean there can’t be an infinite number of them—but so many of them annoyed me the first time round, and then when I was getting them over again it was even worse. I just decided that I could solve that problem by not going any more. I think I didn’t have the right sort of humor to handle those issues. It was fun for a while for me and I think someone who was interested in the UN aspect of things would have more to think about than how annoying the issues are. I hope you can find some countries to re-populate the region!

I guess I should have a funeral for myself.
