So this morning started out like a typical weekday morning in Sunnyland.
Got up, showered, breakfast, kids, work, etc. Then pause… hey, wasn’t there that thread on the Chiff and Fipple Whistle board I never totally got back to last week? looks at time Yeah, got a minute…
sqwaking of dial up internet logging on
Goes to internet favorites with direct link to whistle board, finds post, re-reads, posts… pauses before logging off to wonder how the folks are doing in the Postructural Pub, looks at time again… sure, why not?

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
What have you folks been doing around here!!! Been more than a little busy around here the last month or two, haven’t you??? 
While life got busy and dragged me away, somehow it was comforting to know that despite what went on in Sunnyland, somewhere out there in cyberspace, Chiffy-world would continue on as always, kinda like a landmark, like a great rock that’s been sitting for hundreds of years at the top of the mountain for all to see. What I took for granted is that it would stay that way indefinately… failing to take into account for what might be…
Don’t drop by for just a few months to return and find a large earthquake has caused that rock to roll down the mountain, cross eight lanes of traffic (smashing several vehicles in the process) and land in pieces within the lobby of The More Insanity The Better International. Talk about WhOA! 
I read, I laughed, I cried… and came away dizzy, confused and feeling insanely silly. You’re all crazy, you do realize that don’t you? Totally and completely! 
Something has happend to the board over the last year couple of years. I’m not sure if it’s good or bad, it just is. Guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. I remember when it was just a few boards and a lot less traffic, it was so easy to keep up with the threads and the people and it felt so warm and cozy and inviting like a pretty little country village and now that village has grown to be a huge bustling city and I couldn’t keep up with half of what’s going on here even if I tried. I’ve always been a country girl at heart anyway, big cities have always been just too overwhelming for me to handle for long. The visit to the city has been real nice, but it’s time to head back to Sunnyland… We’ll be back to visit the big city by and by.

It’s been good to “see” you all! I’ve missed you and I guess now I always will in a way. Sometimes you can’t go home…
