I know there’s sophisticated software that slows down tunes and costs $$$ (or pounds or euros).
But this site tunetranscriber is free. It’s limited - you can slow down 50% exactly, and that’s it.
But I’ve found it useful. It takes youtube or mp3.
Looks good for what it does.
Not to be dismissive, but are there not alternatives, such as AIMP (also free), that function as great and unobtrusive media players, yet have this exact same functionality?
The Roni music ASD sounds so much better when slowed down. Transcribing tunes is hard enough with having to fight through awful sound quality, IMO. The software Transcribe! is also something that helps tremendously, making the process far less painful.
Actually, When viewed in HTML5, YouTube now offers the option of .5 and .25 speed on their videos. Having used both software and YouTube to slow down the same piece of music, the quality seems pretty comparable.
