Thanks

Here’s another one:

It’s more sophisticated than you really need (lotsa buttons) for just slowing down tunes, but it works very well.

Not bad, but audio quality in Amazing Slow Downer is significantly better. In fact of all the progs I’ve tried which are mentioned in this thread and the linked thread, ASD produces the clearest slowed-down audio. It’s even better than what I get from full-blown soft studios and sequencers.

To me, that justifies paying for the registered version and getting all features and removing the trial limitations.

Bah! It only works on MP3 and WAV. I’m using exclusively the MP4 format on my IPOD for the better quality.

Still, looks like a good thing. I may convert a file or two tonight to try it out.

When I am learning a tune at the reduced speed
I am not interested tooooo much in the audio quality.
This programme offers me as much as I need.

The quality gets worse the more you slow the tempo.
At moderate speed reduction it sounds just fine.

For a completly free programme this
“best practice 0.92”
isn’t half bad at all.

Thanks again for pointing it out!!

It works fine with my cd drive but it won’t work with mp3s on my hard drive. I am either doing something wrong or there are limitations.

Ron

It has been playing my MP3 files really fine.
I love how you can record your tweaked
version for future use.

I have just slowed a version of “Buachaill Dreóta”
to 80% tweaked the tuning and saved it as a WAV.
I now have a version I can play along with
and I can take anywhere even in the car.

This is going to change the way I practice
as I will be able to play along with some of my favourite
artists and have backing etc. all at speeds I can handle!!

This is fun!!!

Doesn’t work on my mp3’s either
