Hi,
I am using BestPractice: http://www.xs4all.nl/~mp2004/bp/
Main reason is that you can get it for free. I have tested some of the more expensive ones but no one did convince me for a change.
Alternatives: Amazing Slowdowner and Transcribe!
Pacemaker Plug-in with Winamp player. Lets you also change the key so that you can play along with Dervish, Matt Molloy, or any other E-flatty using your favorite D-whistle!

Sorry - couldn’t resist. My slowdowner software of choice comes in various shades of brown, is usually packaged in glass and is mainly manufactured in the Scottish Highlands. (!)
Oh, I don’t know. Late-night relaxation, fat-chewing, keeping the cold out, setting the world to rights, maintaining the Scottish economy, …there are a multitude of reasons for those who need none.
Sometimes you want to learn a tune from a recording, and it’s way
too fast for you to keep up with. So, you can use the software to slow
down the recording without changing the pitch. Then you can more
easily figure out the tune by ear, and play along until you can get it
up to speed.
