Hi;
I should know this, but don’t, so I’d appreciate it if anyone could ID the tune that starts at 5:09 in this Youtube video (part 3 of 5 from the Ceard an Cheoil flute series) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj-zj3N5rXk&feature=related
Thanks in advance. My ABC tunefinding skills are not good and I’m not finding it.
slip jig: dusty miller

Sorry not a reply as I think someone has already answered but just a similar enquiry I thought I could tag on as it’s so similar..
lovely tune played by Gary Hastings at 4.20 on series 1 of Ceard an Choil found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuVWT_r-Dew&feature=related
Thanks for now
Great, I’m sorted…thank you Marin.
nicklow,
The tune is called “The Bugle” from the CD: Slan Le Loch Eirne by the Rev. Hastings.
cheers,
Paul
Not to be picky, but it’s traditionally a hop jig and that’s how it is being played here on the program. It’s a different rhythm than a slip jig.
