I’ve heard this tune in session and perhaps elsewhere. I’d like to know the name. It’s being played at the beginning of this interesting video, http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-647454085561440619&ei=K6YMS7q8OKX2qAOjxKXmDQ&q=irish+traditional+music&hl=en#, by a fine whistler using I think a high E whistle. Can anyone fill me in on the name of this tune and who this whistler is? Thanks, jason
The tune is Bill Hart’s Jig, followed by Mug of Brown Ale and Scatter the Mud, on Eb whistle. The player looks familiar, but I can’t place the name.
Ah, Vinnie Kilduff. He’s identified later in the video.
