I have been using old tube staple from old reed and one’s made at reed making workshops when making reeds. It is time to make my own staples now.
I need 3.2 mm inside diameter tubing for flat chanter and 4.0 mm for D chanter.
Cillian O Briain told me it would be cheaper to order from http://www.hobby.uk.com/cgi-bin/hobbys-cgi/Catalogue.pl
So is the tubing sold by inside or outside dimensions at “Hobby’s”
Is 5/32" Ouutside diameter for flat staple and 3/16" Outside diameter for Concert D
On web page frist press the circle Materials then Metal Tubes/Strips/Mesh/Chain then K & S Metal
Which is better brass or copper tubing.
Cheers
