I just got a Mellow D from The Whistle Shop, and find that I prefer the sound of an aluminum body over the brass body Mellow D. So, if you think you would like a brass whistle better, and have a Waltons Little Black or Guinness D (same whistle) in like new (or close) condition, and want to swap, let me know! We’ll close this high stakes trade! If you have more than one, I’ll throw in a whistle belt pouch from The Whistle Shop too (same value).
This Mellow D plays well, as is, but a little sharp (as usual for them), but you could send it on to Tommy for his tweak-from what I understand, it’s a good one on this whistle.
