I am looking to trade my Dixon one piece Low D whistle for a high D of equivalent value.
It is non-tunable, easy player with what I find to be a lovely tone.
The reason I want to trade it is that it is very easy to play in the second octave, so would be good for someone who finds themselves short of breath for whatever reason … or something.
I just don’t get on well with this whistle, which is maybe down to my breath control. It is in perfect condition and has been rarely played in the 2 years I have owned it.
Personally I cope with my alba q1 low d a lot better and enjoy playing that more.
