Tracklist of a Marcus Hernon's recording wanted

Hello all. I’m looking for the tracklist of the Marcus Hernon’s recording “Traditional Irish Music played on the Concert Flute”. Any help?

I did have this tape, Victor, but couldn’t find it last time I looked for it. Now that you’ve reminded me, I’ll have a look again.

Thanks rama! But I’m afraid that is not the tape I have. Some time ago I recorded that from a friend; today I’ve decided to convert it to mp3. But the tunes you mention does not apear in my tape. Hernon doesn’t play the tin whistle in it. The recording consist on flute and guitar (very piano like accompaniment).

I thought that the tape I have was “Traditional Irish Music played on the Concert Flute” but it seems that it isn’t. Any guess?

Victor.

I have the “Traditional Irish Music” tape of Marcus as well, and it matches rama’s track list. The accompaniment is mostly piano, not guitar. (The tin whistle track, which is great by the way, has guitar)

I don’t know of any other solo commercial recordings by Marcus; the other ones that I know of were all recorded with his brother PJ on box.

Hi Marcus! Yes I like very much his style and I’ve seen that video, thanks.

If I can’t find any information about it I think I’ll have to get in touch with him.

Victor.

I was very fortunate to take his class in Boston several years back. He is, quite possibly, the nicest human being ever. And his class taught me more about flute playing than I would ever have thought possible. Plus, as a bonus, Peader O’Loughlin spent a day with the class. I still have a recording of Marcus and Peader playing together that is one of my prize belongings.
