Today's quote ...

Visiting my Amish neighbors, Levi and Delilah, we watch their four goats rummaging around looking for things to get into. Levi smiles and says …

“They say everyone should have a goat once. Then after that, they’ll be able to enjoy how nice it is not to have a goat.”

Best wishes,
Jerry

My daughter, who has had the ‘privilege’ to care for goats, said that the one they finally cooked and ate was the best he’d ever been. :astonished:

Funny, I always wanted a goat. Perhaps I should visit your neighbors.

There are some folks who keep one on a tether in their yard, as a sort of built-in mower. It does a very good job. Having spent a little time around goats, I’m quite satisfied to let others keep that little pleasure. Go visit some - it’s far more enjoyable when you can drive away… with all the upholstery intact, and wash the signature odor out of your clothes.

Did you ever ask Delilah why?

He’ll be here all week!

Try the goat…er VEAL! Try the veal!

I like our goats. I’m off at college now, and I don’t think it’s particularly nice to not have goats around. I kind of miss them.

I had goat once..at a South African restaurant. Was actually more tasty than I was expecting.

I’ve had both goat and chicken served Jamaican “jerk” style. The attraction eludes me.
