I got this one as well. It’s nice to know that we get better C&F prices I suppose

Edited to remove a bad joke involving a baliset.

…We come to know about you through some dependable being…

That has to narrow the field of suspects down a bit. Lets me out, anyway.

lets most of us out, dunnit.

Weren’t home-made condoms originally made from goat skin? :boggle:

Sheep-skin. Ooops. Er… The Chinese don’t distinguish.

 That’s right! I’d forgotten about that. Good one!

:imp:

Chinese, dear, Chinese
most of us here can tell

I would hope that most of you CAN tell, but perhaps you could think of something other than food and sex when you do?

never mentioned either, did I?

‘sides, they’re jus’ bein’ boyz. :smiling_imp:

My mother was a champion knitter, and as far as I am aware, she NEVER knitted with goat’s wool.

We’ems jez bein’ baa-aaad.

shoulda gone with goats…dang

I don’t know anything about goat skins, but I also receive similar letters from instrument companies in (I won’t mention the country) asking me whether I am interested in carrying a line of their excellent Irish flutes. I usually reply that I am very interested and that I would like for them to send a sample of their best flute. I’m still waiting for the shipping box to appear at my doorstep.

Getting back to the topic, I do know that goat skins are used for drum heads. I have two frame drums with goat skin heads that were made in Pakistan. Emmline, you must have written something online that got caught by the search engines of the goat skin guys in Pakistan. Are you a drummer as well as a fiddler, perhaps?

No. But I assume, since the email specifically references C&F, and Izzy got one, that our emails were somehow scooped off our profiles.

That could be it (the bit about them getting it from our profiles)…although, surely we weren’t the only ones who received the email, since we’re not the only ones who have their email in their profile?

good point…I am feeling left out.

'course I have a goat,
but they haven’t been to Pakistan.

…as far as I know.

You have a C&F goat? No fair! Hey, Dale! Where’s my C&F goat?

Bloody favouritism! :swear:
